Volume One

Allow me to set the scene.

The town of Alloria is a medieval-turned-urban town on Earth--at least, a version of Earth. The Alloria Fringe Festival occurs every year in fall. People from all over the world join the festival to share their love for the arts and science, as well as seek out kindred spirits.

A castle towers over the city, looming on a hill at the city’s heart. A zeppelin is tethered next to the castle. The Alloria Convention Center sits down the hill of the castle and across the moat. Bars and smaller stages litter Main Street, which snakes up to the castle’s moat. The modern and trendy Majesty Hotel sits next to the convention center. A temporary globe theater is erected outside of the Majesty Hotel. Across Main Street from the Alloria Convention Center is the rustic, more affordable Dreamer Hotel.
